| The Pierced Heart is a copy of a 15th century Netherlandish brooch in the
van Beuningen collection. In fairness, we want you to know that this item is not
of our normal high quality. It was a very early piece and its mold was made out of very
bad, grainy rock. It is suitable if you are creating a character/persona who gets cheap
presents from their leman - or if you want to collect this piece of the history of forgery
before we replace the mold.
