- Payment and Shipping: We will try to ship orders paid
by money order within two days. We may hold orders paid by check for the check
to clear. Please send us e-mail
as you order if you need especially quick delivery - we will be very glad to try
to accommodate you, to discuss the delivery schedule, to confirm that the items
are in stock (or to pour more stock in preparation for your order), etc. We generally
read our e-mail several times a day; we may miss a couple of days in traveling
now and then.
- Shipping Cost: Please add $3.50 to the total cost
of your to pay for domestic shipping by USPO, first class. Add $6.00 to the total
cost if you prefer Priority mail.
- Customers in Pennsylvania: Please
add 6% of the total of your order before shipping for sales tax. If you skip this
part, your order will be delayed while we get it straightened out. Thanks for
your help!
- Customers outside the U.S.: We are delighted to serve
you also. Please drop us a line to discuss shipping costs and payment. In general,
we ship US post by a method that takes 4-7 days to arrive anywhere in the world.
The shipping charge varies depending on the weight of your order. We will be glad
to quote an exact figure when we know what you would like to order. We cannot
take credit cards, but we will accept payment by PayPal (http://www.paypal.com).
We also have customers around the world for whom it is convenient to pay in U.S.
cash or in euros, and this has worked well for many of them. Please send us e-mail
to discuss any of these issues - we hope to make your ordering as convenient as
possible. Please note: Paypal sometimes mangles non-US addresses. Please
(please, please, please!) send us your mailing address in your note, written and
divided into lines in the way that will make sense to your postal service. Thanks!

- We
want you to be pleased with your purchase. If you are ordering a brooch, please
read the information in the QFA's about the pins on the
brooches. These are made authentically as an integral part of the brooch.
They are thicker than the steel pins on modern brooches and are best worn in textiles
more loosely woven than modern cotton shirt fabrics. They are more subject to
damage than steel pins. That said, we and our customers have worn these brooches
happily and successfully for a decadeand a half now.
