We were pleased to add this portrait brooch of ourselves to our collection. It is a copy of a Netherlandish brooch dated 1375-1425, and may originally have served as an illustration of the aphorism that “Two heads are better than one.” Then again, it may just have been meant to delight with its weirdness. Those are both things we subscribe to!
