Our most popular brooch as a gift for a cook or a foodie. It’s exact meaning is obscure, but the original probably signified generosity (always room for one more) and functioned as a reminder of happy meals taken in good company. The original was recovered from the Thames in London and although it is undated, the spoons are of the distinctive late medieval form.
