Jousting Shield Pendant

There are a fair number of extant pewter shields, some with inserted emblems or devices. It is unclear whether these are more than tournament souvenirs – or maybe only little toys like the pendant shoes, axes, niddy noddies, etc that also appear. Our friend Will McLean speculated on these shields on his blog (http://willscommonplacebook.blogspot.com/2013/07/jousting-shield-badges.html). You could wear them as is, or buy a handful and paint them with your group badge. It is also possible, as you will see, to have us do custom work if you need a lot – including making a mold for your own device.

As the Gallery images show, they come out of the mold flat, and are easily bent to resemble a real full-sized tourney shield. Here are a custom piece, a blank, and a handful of things we already had that would fit, just to give you an idea.
