Pig with Bagpipe Brooch

$5.00

Well, we like the medieval pipes, and we would never say they sound like a pig – but that was not the opinion of the maker of the original item, dated 1375-1425, we copied to produce this brooch. The inscription on the banderole (borrowed from a contemporary piping pig from a different mold) says, “VARMVA”. Just pronounce that as if you were imitating the pipes – VARMMMMMMMMVA!
