Bar Stud / Mount with Glass Stones (Copenhagen Studs)

$1.00

An adaptation into pewter of the studs on a silk belt in the National Museum in Copenhagen, sometimes described as the girdle of Eric of Pomerania (1381-1459). This artifact is a little confused – the textile base and the purse hanger, eyelets, and gem-set studs are dated to the 14th century. The buckle and chape are early to mid-15th century; they have effectively been stuck on to an earlier belt. We do supply buckle, chape, eyelets, and purse hanger as well, and they will all fit together, if you choose to combine them.

Fits straps 1 1/4 inch or 32 mm wide, or wider.
