Large Heart Brooch

A beautiful brooch for a friend’s or lover’s gift. Copied from an example, dated to the first half of the 15th century, now in the Musée de Cluny. Amusingly, it is a pin brooch in the form of a ring brooch, and like much pewter jewelry it shares its design exactly with precious metal adornments.
