Mermaid Brooch

$5.00

This mermaid, like so many, looks at herself in a mirror as she combs her hair, representing vanity as well as the dangers of the sea. We did have to supply the mirror, as the original brooch, dated 1375-1425, has her arm broken off just below the elbow.
