Mr. Yuck Charm Holder

$3.00

The original Mr. Yuck brooch (dated 1325-1375 and found in Ypres) did not have a ring on the bottom. We added it to turn him into a charm holder. If you prefer it without, we will gladly remove it for you.

The archeologists and folklorists insist that figures with their tongues sticking out are “apotropaic” – that is, they turn evil away from the wearer. The first wearers of these saucy brooches may have agreed with them – it would be hard to prove. Whether you hope for good luck, or just want to express your opinion of your current condition, this charm holder may be for you!
