A translation into pewter of the belt worn by Nicolas Rolin, chancellor for the dukes of Burgundy, in his portrait by Rogier van der Weyden (reverse panel from the Last Judgment, 1434, oil on panel, Beaune, France). Can be worn as a regular belt and chape, or with a short chain attached to the loop, which is caught by the buckle tongue, as in the portrait.

Fits a 1 1/4 inch or 32 mm wide strap.
