Wrocław Ring Brooch

$10.00

This ornate – and surprisingly large – ring brooch is copied after one excavated at the New Market (Novy Targ) site in Wrocław, Poland. The original is dated to 1220-1270. It is, however, similar in size and shape to the one worn by St. Hedwig a hundred years later in the 1353 manuscript of her life at the Getty Museum (Ms. Ludwig XI 7).
