These buckles and chapes are authentic and beautiful – the perfect basis on which to make a belt which will show off your medieval garb or costume to its fullest. In general, you should plan to use buckles and chapes in the combinations shown here. Very few other combinations work – the pieces take different strap sizes, or the chape will not fit through the buckle, etc. Before you send us your order, you are welcome to use this form to tell us what pieces you would like to combine for a belt. If they physically do not match we will let you know.
We sell the parts for DIY (instructions and rivets included), or we would be glad to make your belt for you.
