Demicient Chains

The price for any set of demicient fittings includes 18 inches (46 cm) of either of the two lighter chains shown (from left to right, jack chain, silver colored) and an acorn dangle. We usually ship them with the silver-colored chain; please add a note when you check out if you prefer something else. You may substitute a rumbler bell for the acorn at no additional charge; please put the request in the notes at check out. You may also purchase a length of chain with an acorn (or bell) without buying demicient fittings for $3.

We also offer a magnificent heavy pewter chain, based on the square linked chain one sees in so many depictions of demicients (see the St. Margaret demicient). The chain works out to about a half an inch per link, so a foot of chain has 24 links in it. It costs a dollar a link or $24 the foot. We suggest a minimum of a foot of chain hanging from your demicient.
