Forget-me-not Brooch

$5.00$7.00

This pretty brooch is based on one found in Norfolk, where many fragments of similar (or perhaps identical) brooches were also uncovered, perhaps suggesting local production. A second example from the same mold was, however, found at Salisbury. The originals are undated, but almost certainly late 14th or 15th century.

We have painted a few examples, to see how they looked. These are in limited supply right now, but of course, if you love them, we will stock them. Choose small yellow flowers or small red flowers when ordering.
