Large Interlocking Clothing Clasp with Stones

$3.00$25.00 Sold singly, as three of a color, or ten in any combination of colors

Our second mold of this type of fastener – and like the smaller version, based on a mold in the Magdeburg stash of hundreds of 13th-century molds (before 1284). These are seldom identifiable in art –  we have found only a limited number of examples. Please let us know if you find others, and meanwhile, check out Mac’s Pinterest page on interlocking fasteners.

This is a spectacularly beautiful clasp to use where it can really be seen. About an inch / 24mm high, it will add splendor to your clothing and draw the (envious) attention of all who behold you! We have recently extended our range of colors, and you have 21 choices. All of the stones are glass. A stone name that is followed by (O) is opaque glass; although fire-polished, most are not “shiny”. All other stones are translucent and foiled; they reflect a lot of light and are quite bright. We realize it is sometimes hard to tell an exact color on screen – if you have questions or need help, please contact us.

Choose from the menu below. Prices are $3 for one clasp (two pieces), $9 for three of a single color, $25 for ten in any combination of colors you like.

This is also a technological triumph – we invite you to read more about the mold, which has a trick or two up its sleeve! You can also see Mac pour it on Youtube.
