Livery Collar with Buckles – Parts for DIY or Full Collar

$10.00$35.00

These fittings are an adaptation into pewter of the collar (buckles, chapes, eyelets, and trefoil) on the effigy of Sir Edmund de Thorpe (1418). They fit a 7/8 inch or 22mm wide strap. This buckled collar can be shorter than a collar made on the Rolin fittings (since it does not have to be larger than your head), and the pendant can sit higher on your chest.

We offer two buckles attached to the trefoil, two chapes, and two eyelets (plus rivets to attach them to a strap) for $20.  We will also be glad to make a collar for you – we charge $35 for a collar on leather with these parts and no additional decoration. State the color of leather you want when you order.

Our standard length for this collar is 22 inches (53 cm). This is a 19 inch (48 cm) strap plus 2 inches (5 cm) taken up by the fittings. This hangs at the right place on almost everyone over clothing – and is what Mac is wearing in the photo in the gallery. Drop us a note ahead of time if this is not the correct length for you, or if you need a collar to wear over a helmet (bearing in mind that we do not advise using pewter, which is a soft metal, in combat where it may be struck and damaged).

We will be glad to attach a pendant. If it is the MOD pendant please choose that from the pull down options in addition to the collar/fittings; otherwise buy the pendant separately and add a note at checkout that you want it attached. See the links below for other SCA order pendants we supply.

If you want additional decorations, like studs, please contact us ahead of time to discuss the job. We are glad to help, and will quote the additional charge.
