Fede Ring Brooch

$6.00$9.00 plain/painted

A pastiche in pewter of silver and gold brooches shown in Lightbown. The inscription reads in medieval French, “ie sui ci en liu dami” – “I am here in place of a friend.” These “fede” brooches were used as betrothal gifts and signs of affection. We offer this ring brooch plain and painted; stock of the painted items varies – please inquire if you want a particular color.
